Today, on 7th August 2013, Senator Joe Mutambu held a thanksgiving rally at Mwingi's Musila Gardens. He thanked the people of Mwingi central for electing him by showering them with bags of goodies similar to the biblical manna from heaven, as a threshold to his alacrity of ensuring consistent development he gave out the precious secondary and primary schools textbooks which are a dream come true for many disadvantaged scholars ,in the ensuing gift laced Saturday sparkling white ambulances ,fully fitted maternity delivery beds and ward beds of peak standard capacity destined for various hospitals/sub-hospitals made a maiden appearance to warm the hearts of the over excited residents to plaster the icing on the cake school girls had a field day as bundles of sanitary towels were dished out not to forget the state of art microscopes.
A thanksgiving ceremony is in fact taking place. The ceremony is for Senator Joe Mutambu, and it has attracted as many as seven senators, and other many leaders.
